Introduction
AEMO and Network service providers (NSPs) across the NEM have a critical role in enabling the energy system transition and doing so while maintaining power system reliability and security. The volume and complexity of renewable energy projects are increasing over time, leading to complex technical challenges and requiring new ways to assess system performance. AEMO and the NSPs also play a lead role in transmission expansion projects, from smaller network investments to much more significant Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) infrastructure developments.
The Power Systems Engineers at GridWise have vast experience in power systems planning, network operations, grid connections and interpreting national electricity rules. Having worked across multiple industry sectors and academia, our team has the depth and diversity of experience to assist the grid authorities in a challenging period for the electricity industry.
We have a full suite of software packages, automation scripts and hardware capabilities to work through the complex and extensive modelling required for power system analyses related to network planning, operations and grid connections.
